Return Policy – The Michigan Stones
We offer a 30-day return policy on our stones. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in new, unused condition, and in the same condition that you received it. Items will be inspected upon return for damage or signs of use before a refund is issued. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not provide return shipping labels.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged during shipping, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and work to make it right.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Custom or personalized stones or jewelry
- Items that have been altered, set, drilled, or used
- Sale items
- Gift cards
Because our stones are natural and often one-of-a-kind, natural variations in color, pattern, texture, or inclusions are not considered defects.
Exchanges
Because most of our stones are one-of-a-kind, exchanges are generally not available. If you would like a different item, the fastest way is to return the original item (once approved) and place a new order.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
Items must be returned in the same condition that you received them, unused and undamaged, and with proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
We do not charge restocking fees.
