Shipping Policy – The Michigan Stones

Thank you for shopping with The Michigan Stones. Each stone is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely.


Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

Processing times may be longer during peak periods, holidays, or severe weather events.


Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of the package.

Estimated delivery times are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers
  • Weather conditions
  • Postal service disruptions
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
  • Events outside our control

Shipping Carriers

We primarily ship orders using:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • Other reliable carriers when appropriate

The carrier used will depend on package size, weight, and destination.


Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.


Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier.

If your package is delayed, lost, or marked as delivered but cannot be located, please contact the shipping carrier directly to open a claim.

We will assist when possible, but we are not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, or stolen after shipment.


Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the package is returned to us:

  • The customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

Damaged Items During Shipping

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Your order number

We will evaluate the situation and work to resolve the issue.


International Shipping

We may offer international shipping to select countries.

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Any additional charges required by their country

Delivery times for international shipments may vary significantly due to customs processing.


Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse shipment of any order at our discretion.
